Thank You

Three and a half years together It was supposed to be forever But then you went and broke my heart You went and tore our family apart You left me for somebody new Said good-bye, I don't love you At first I was so brokenhearted Knowing that we had parted Looking back at what we had I realized it had gotten bad You were always putting me down I know now that I almost frowned Being with you, I lost myself The woman I once was became a shell The day you told me good-bye I honestly thought that I would die But these past two months that I've been free I've grown and blossomed and now I'm happy I've missed out so much of my life When I was with you as your wife I may still love you And care for you, too But now I must say good-bye No you will not see me cry In fact I thank you for everything For now I am me again
