Thank You

Something beautiful appeared to me
In the form of birds and trees
I said, thank you
While the earth is burning down fires set by careless fiends
Friendless to the earth
means nothing but destruction to feed distraction
The rain, acid like and blue
Burns through window pains stuck together with fake glue
Hail, Mary couldn’t save you
And it all melts creating puddles of past things
Fuzzy, familiar, and false
Stop
Now
Reach
High above your head feel the water on your finger tips
The world, it cries
It cries
For
We saw away at its soul
