Thank You

Shall I thank you now for the permanence of this heartache forever impossible to set aside ?

This tale of loss slowly to be chiseled into the tender tissues of my heart,  finding color not with artist brush but with scar of painful memory ...

 yet still I say thank you......
for in those memories lie the unspoken gain of having once loved
