Thank You

When I first met you, I was only eleven;
didn't know a lot, just bits and pieces;
After four years, you made me wiser;
taught me to stand strong be a fighter.
Now it is your chance to do greater;
Take this chance to shine brighter;
Head to your new further.
Except us, as we thank you;
For all that you have been through;
To help us learn what we need;
For the nourishment you gave us;
Without realising you raised us.
Your bravery, your kindness you gave,
A whole community you made.
Your memories that remain
in our minds and our hearts will never end;
With one last good-bye, we try
To let you go sore high into the sky.
