Thank Thee O Lord

So many without work, losing hope.
I have a job, as does my husband.
We thank thee O Lord for our work blessings.

So many have lost family and friends
To this pandemic which seems to be worsening.
We thank thee O Lord that it has not touched our family.

So many have lost hope, feeling discouraged and despondent.
For sheltering in place has increased their depression and loneliness.
We thank thee O Lord that we have each other.

So many do not know how to entertain themselves, and they are bitter.
My husband is a drummer, and a designer. I am a poet, artist and cartoonist.
We thank thee O Lord that we have these wonderful blessings.

So many are sad and lonely, running out of strength and hope.
We issue them our prayers, hoping they will be uplifted and renewed.
Thank Thee O Lord in advance; we know you are there for them.
