he spoke o keep her aware she was the subject of his observation his presence may have been unaware to her as she never took him or his kind serious she allow others to dabble in her life some wished to cause disturbance and disrupt his ever to find someone incompatibility for him her living only to spite him her ways and worries to undermine him she thought the chelloist wanted her new position as first string. Instead of congratulating her, she poured tomato juice on her white garment. Figuring it would be to late to buy a new one, by the time she would be fitted for the show. They discovered the actions of the Tuba-woman, and said nothing unil the night of the show. When they seated the orchestra, and just before the curtain, they called her from her position, and asked her if she knew the music on chello, " why?" she asked, " why?" " is all well with Criss, is all well?" no the gentlemen told her, come with us. They took her to the back, and gave her a white gown and asked her to perform. She did and Criss stood back stage and watched, towards the end of the intermission, they asked the woman to leave, they told her they knew what she did and allowed this to occur to have the press deal with her. She left and one actor upon the show wrote this poem of her.
