TEXAS DUST

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sun-baked asphalt stretches, heat-haze shimmering like water. A lone hawk circles above mesquite shadows. Cattle low in dry grass. Oil rigs nod slow. Wind carries nothing but grit and space and the weight of sky. Always sky.
