Testimony of Love
Your love like the river,
Flowing endlessly thru time,
A love like the legendary city of gold;
An El Dorado, which we'll never find.
Dancing on the ripples of despair and desire,
A torch in the darkness of light.
Seeing, but not seeing, the eddies of love,
Walking the tried path, midway through the night.
Yet, love's pleasure, still can be found
In the simplest manners of endearment.
A look, a glance, a soft touch of fulfillment;
Love is life's, indomitable spirit.
Love's a secret cache most people aspire to;
Love's temple a treasure, tried and true.
