Terror

Heart bounds against my chest
Tip toe or run what works the best?
Not wanting to be his prey.
Keeping safe another day.
Check my back no one there.
But those eyes I feel their stare.
Hold my breath as you pass my door.
Wondering why you still want more.
Screams of terror during the night.
Wake up trembling from the fright.
Tears stream down my face.
Wondering why I still here his pace.
Feared you greatly ever since.
Memories still make me wince.
Spoilt my life you succeeded.
A safe nights sleep was all I needed.
