Terrified

Dose the laughter of a thousand maniacs shake you from your sleep.

Dose it wake the demons you try to run away from
And the secrets that you keep.

Is your pillow wet with sweat from fear that disturbing
Your sleep

Or is the dampness on your pillow from the tears that you weep.

Do you lie awake praying for the night to fade away

Do you lay in your own sweat waiting for a new day.

Then your safe and you feel alright until the maniacs
Laughing starts again
When the day fades back into night.
