I wonder if anything could be done to help fix and prevent these from happening again in our large cities, at the border and at the edge of war-torn areas. Thanks for reminding us of what is going on in our world. Sara K

Hi Sara, the U.S. has a long standing lack of affordable housing. In our area a 1 bedroom apartment is a minimum of around $1200 a month. So sad. Hugs xx

Hi Karen, it's such a tragic part of Americana. Especially when the weather is cold and windy. We have such a terrible lack of affordable housing crisis in the U.S.

SAd this isnt it.. I heard tha LA has streets of people with tents as there are so many homeless.. what a sad world we live in that people cannot live under a warm roof and so many children die from poverty each day.. sickens me.. then you have certain nations dropping bombs seeing children as mere collateral damage..

Yes, in the U.S. housing is expensive, and the tragic result for many people is living in tent cities. San Francisco, LA, and many other states have tent cities. I hear London has a homeless population too, so sad. Thank you Silent One for commenting. I wish the world would break out in peace. Warmest regards.

A one bedroom apartment in our area is at the minimum, $1200 a month. Those in power shouldn't wonder why there's so many tent cities. It's a national tragedy. Thank you, Sara, for commenting. Hugs xx

I like your poem and angle on such a sad state of affairs. The more money they borrow from the future into the now, creates more than ever of the have's and have not's.

It's so sad, David, with so many people living in cars and tents. Homeless shelters fill up fast. So many homeless families with children. Blessings of the Season to you.
