Tender Is...

Tender is...
A heart that beats
with pure, trusting love,
That questions not
motivations,
And soars easy,
as with the dove...
Whose wings are
sheltering to that one,
Whose devotion's life
Is never done
Whose touch electrifies,
Who sees only love,
Through trusting eyes

The clouds of doubt
Banished from the heart
And wonder pervades
all life,
And all that one wants,
Or needs to be complete,
Is to find the other as
husband or wife

What a glorious joy
Love makes of that life,
As it washes over one's
Pounding soul
Enrapt with simplest
existence,
As a starving one,
Presented with fruit laden
bowl.
