Ten Years

All the squandered years
The anguish, and the rage
We both disappeared
We we both disengaged

Ten years of tears passed by
Your health become poor
I'll never know why
But your only daughter came to your door

We didn't speak of the past
I loved you as much as ever
That year went by fast
I'll remember it forever

It wasn't what we planned
You were going to move seaside
I still don't understand
Why you went and died

Hi Tanis, Very nice rhyme, sad but nice. I hope this wasn't a real experience for you. Best wishes, JP
