Ten Years

I’ve been crazy for 10 years.
She would never say it, she’s not allowed.
I text at midnight.
I cry in front of her.
We’ve been through thousands of tissues.
Which is all I need sometimes.
In a room that is quiet at night, but loud at 10:30 in the morning.
I say it all the time.
I’ve been crazy for 10 years.
Maybe 27 years, but that makes me cry more, so we’ll say 10 instead.
I’ve been crazy for 10 years, 10 years…11 years…12 years…
And will be tomorrow at 10:30 as well.
