Temptation

Skin that’s so soft
It can fill a hollow heart
A vital urge that keeps me on edge
It as if I’m falling for
Your every quality
And it’s gone take all of me
To fight it
This feeling has me high
My adrenalin is kicking in
It’s in reach but I refuse
Won’t let this get the best of me
While dealing with my discrepancy
Won’t let it take control on me
Because only I have that power
But the power she has
Puts up a fight a challenge competition
Puts me in a certain position
That makes me myself
Want to go against my word
There’s a glow and when shown
Makes me take my vow
And disown
It robs my soul and steals my breath
Its turns me upside down
And with all this
I still try my best to resist
But your essence spreads
Across your lips
Which I seem so eager to kiss
The vibe I get it lures me in
You don’t even say much
Unaware that you’re enticing
When on the phone
We speak as friends so was said
But in person it’s like it’s urgent
Or a must that we be close
But it’s a fight with myself and within myself
A fight with you
And you ask what you are fighting
I reply Temptation
