Temporary Warmth

no escape from this day this cold air wraps me in its grasp relentlessly the only relief i foresee are adrift in thoughts of you that bring some warmth my way this horrid january day

The pleasure of your words is highlighted by the stimulation for their being woven together. You certainly have a wonderful well of sources for writing by being around children. I had the greatest of times when I taught kindergarten through 3rd grade for a few years, then returned to the life of finance and business.... yet my therapy is the haunted house, a year long endeavor. Thank you Pax...been doing this for 23 years now...sometimes the bus adventures inspire me, more often it's the nature I see while out there that beckon my muse!

'Horrid January day' -- hmm... must be a euphemism or some such... After all, what more can one wish for than snowstorms and freeing cold?! LOL. Same fershtunk weather here in Chicago. Let's wait a day or three... Winter's not as tough as she used to be! Smiles! :) Gershon

lol... broke down in the bus, second time this week, 25 degree temps, load of kids...at an active railroad crossing.. barely got it stopped before the tracks or we would have been evacuating in that cold... tin can got cold quickly but it was better than being out in the elements... your snow made it here today (thanks for that...lol) it's gonna be colder over the next few days but winter has been mild for sure... hugs

This is beautiful Sandy. When thoughts of one you care about are all you need to chase of the chill of a cold winter day. Loved this one. It made me feel warm inside.

Thank you Chris... bus broke down second time this week... today's was scary and it was bitter outside... the kids were excited at first, until they started to get cold as well...they were running around on the bus...i was manning the wheel... making sure it wasn't rolling down the hill and onto the active railroad tracks we broke down in front of... hugs
