Temporary Warmth

no escape
from this day
this cold air
wraps me
in its grasp
relentlessly 

the only relief
i foresee 
are adrift
in thoughts
of you
that bring
some warmth
my way
this horrid
january day

I had the greatest of times when I taught kindergarten through 3rd grade for a few years, then returned to the life of finance and business.... yet my therapy is the haunted house, a year long endeavor. Smiles! :) Gershon Login to Reply Sandra Adams Date: 1/18/2020 8:02:00 PM lol... broke down in the bus, second time this week, 25 degree temps, load of kids...at an active railroad crossing.. barely got it stopped before the tracks or we would have been evacuating in that cold... tin can got cold quickly but it was better than being out in the elements... your snow made it here today (thanks for that...lol) it's gonna be colder over the next few days but winter has been mild for sure... hugs

Login to Reply Sandra Adams Date: 1/17/2020 6:50:00 PM Thank you Chris... bus broke down second time this week... today's was scary and it was bitter outside... the kids were excited at first, until they started to get cold as well...they were running around on the bus...i was manning the wheel... making sure it wasn't rolling down the hill and onto the active railroad tracks we broke down in front of... hugs
