Tempest of Chaos

In my dreams I hold you near
You were my lover, my angel, my muse.
In my dreams I kiss your lips
But all I gave you was abuse.

You gave me your life,
And the family I never had.
You gave me unconditional love,
I just made you sad.

In life’s journey, we traveled together.
You gave me a child,
And as you gave me happiness,
I stole your smile.

You saved my life,
You were my bright star in the cosmos.
You stayed with me when others said you shouldn’t
I left your life in a tempest of chaos.
