Tell Me You Love Me

Momma told me When I was young Loving someone Would be a lot of fun But now I'm older Loving you is like skipping stones No one told me How alone I'd feel When you're gone Loving you is like watching the rain Thunder, lightning, and all the pain These memories won't leave me Tell me you love me Months go by, without a word Sitting, praying, tying to be heard You look right past me I start crumbling Loving you is like sunset goodbyes Watching the sky turn into night Wishing on a Shooting star Loving you is like parting the sea This love is clear to see One day, when the time is right I will be yours, and you will be mine Tell me you love me
