Tell Me Something Quickly Now

Someone hold me.
Someone tell me it's alright.
Tell me it'll get better.
Tell me life's a fairy-tale,
And that there's a happy ending.

Tell me all the jokes and comments,
Are something kids just do,
Tell me life has blessed me.
Tell me that I'm beautiful,
Though no man apparently thinks it.

Tell me life gets better.
Say life is not this cruel.
Make me laugh and cry out loud,
Inside: my dam is breaking.
I can take no more pain.

Help me find my way,
I've no more tears to shed.
Help me get away,
My plans have disappeared.
Tell me life gets easier.

No more can I ask you to lie,
Now I will say goodbye!
