Tell Me
You tell me you've been hurt, in more ways than one,
But don't condemn or punish me, for things I haven't done.
Give me all of you, and not just a part;
Allow me the chance to heal your once broken heart.
In this whole world of people, you picked me from the crowd;
Only you can tell me why, so why not say it out loud?
Tell me every day that I'm beautiful, and why you care;
Say that when you see me, you can't help but stare.
I'm on the love boat, but are you on board?
Another broken heart, I just cannot afford.
So when we're apart, tell me you miss me so;
If you could change the past, you'd never have let me go.
I feel like I'm giving more than I receive;
Saying that you love me, is just too hard to believe.
Tell me without words, that your love for me is real;
It's what you do that matters, so show me how you feel.
Don't hesitate, or keep holding back your tongue;
There's nothing worse than a song that's been left unsung.
So tell me what I mean to you, show me true romance;
Tomorrow's no guarantee, and you could miss your chance.
