Tell Me

Tell me, beautiful, everything that weighs upon your mind. Nevermind the passing of time. I'd spend forever listening to the utterances of your heart. Tell me what brings these tears. What anguish lies within your soul? I want to console you through the darkest of your years. Make you feel whole again. Tell me how I can be of assistance. Do you want me just to listen? I want to rejuvenate your smile, Restore your joy, Make you glisten with warmth. Speak to your heart's satisfaction, Until the feeling of security draws you to a trusting silence. The sources of your sorrow are soon to be replaced. Until then, I extend this invitation: Find solace in my embrace. I love you dearly, and I care for you so deeply. Chanté Walker November 22, 2024
