Tell Her

Tell her that love is beautiful,
Tell her that love is also painful,
With all the betrayal, hurt, jealousy,
With all the kindness, joy, generosity, care,
You have to be willing to love.

Tell her that self love is a blessing,
She doesn't need a boy by her side,
She needs a man who will treat her,
A man who would love her,
A man, who would see her beauty as she ages.

Tell her the wound will heal,
All that she has to do is to be real,
Let her know that not all men are dogs,
For I won't bark, I'll whisper love to your heart,
I'll put a smile on your face.

Tell her she's a dime, she's worthy,
She's an angel from Heaven,
Don't let sadness surround you,
Why should a beautiful smile be hidden
