Telepathy
In my head
a pale face grins.
Blue eyes smile
and again you win.
"Come to me now,"
my spirit hears.
"I'll meet you there."
"Yes, my dear."
"Say it's me you miss
and I'll send you a kiss."
"I'll tell you a joke
to lighten your yoke."
"And if you call me
my heart will hear.
I'll come quickly.
Never fear."
"Don't ever leave me,
but if you do,
leave your laughter
to see me through."
