Teetering On a Teeter Totter

The Word Teeter Totter
He used the word teeter totter.
It surprised me, because I never hear it any more.
I said, “Where did you learn that word?”
He did not know which one I meant.
I said, “How do you know about a teeter totter?”
He said, “I was born on a teeter totter.”
An interesting visual for sure.

Indeed...now that is an imagination for sure. We called them "slickey-slides." Interesting how words evolve.
