Teens
walking down the hall, seeing all your peers
having all these hopes, having all these fears
how to wear you hair, how to make time rush by
not knowing when to laugh, and not knowing when to cry
how to pick your friends, how to stand your ground
trying to keep up while running all around
having all these questions like am I cool enough?
running into bullies who think their very tough
have to go to work, won't be done until ten
then you have your sport, hoping you will win
now you have homework, want to keep that "A"
wow it's been a very long day!
