You are the only one who listened
The only one who took the time
When there was nobody
You came along I made you mine

Words are just words
If they don't come from the heart
I so want to express how much I love you
And what you mean to me
But even when 
words come from my heart
I never know where to start

A moment away from you
Is still a world apart
Looking Into Your deep smiling eyes 
That takes me floating among the stars
For they tell a story
A dream I never thought could come true
Thanks to you

We all dream about our first love
So wonderful and so sweet 
No greater love had there ever been
But no one has ever made me feel
Those warm treasured memories
When we were just seventeen
