Teenager

Spawned in adolescence...the
product of lust
Abandoned by the creator…a
warrior with no soul
Raised on substituted
happiness…potential forsaken
Pushed to be perfect…unknown
to them who she is…
Beaten to the point of
hopelessness…alone and
broken…
Tears fall for the ones she has
lost…who hold her mind
together…
Mind aged beyond any her
age…and decades older…
Heart willing to die…if only to
be healed for a day first…
Unwilling to be passive…passion
to keep the few who know is
mistaken for careless
(aggression?)
Unknown to those near her…but
a part of those she trusts…
The jagged edges of her broken
heart…never to be healed…
unless the truth is revealed…
Knowledge of its end coming
near…she holds her life by a
thread…
Hopelessly hoping for the single
embrace before she is gone…
never to come…
Shattered almost to the point of
no return…her fate is
uncertain…
She unwillingly walks this dark
path alone…fearing never
seeing the light again…
