Teenage Struggles

Listen to me As I tell you what you don’t see, The teenage struggles of today. I tell you what I say Is true. Teenagers do struggle through Life as we know it. So why don’t you sit And listen to the truth of How teens struggle in love Looking for the one to call my dove. How they struggle through school Just trying to be cool, To make the grade, So the knowledge won’t fade. We struggle with the bully And popularity. We struggle to find who we are, Searching low and far. I hope this helps you to see What it’s like to be A teen whose troubles are unseen.

It sound so true to me, teens do have a struggle, and there's no fun in that.. Not everyone gets to grow up with a silver spoon, not having to worry too much about anything. The drugs and violence is caused by some of the younger ones trying to be like the people they watch in the films, the killing, stealing and daredevilish acts presented therein. I can see a lot of me in your words as when I was younger growing up and trying to be somebody I wasn't, and standing up to the bully. L. in Lou.

You have alot to say, yes, teen years are rough, but it should be fun too. You have a good message, but the flow is not quite there, read it out loud to yourself or someone, that helps sometimes. Thanks for sharring, Judy Riley

this poem was written for my mom who thinks that all us kids have to worry about is school and church. but its not. we kids have a lot on our minds, things we would never tell our parents. some things i wouldnt even put in this poem. for those of you who are like my mom i hope this helps u to understand the teenage mind.
