Teddy Bear

I have a friend
His name is Tom
He’s usually sad
And cries at home

Nobody gives him
Kiss or a hug
His mother calls him
Stupid and bug

She calls him nobody
She calls him a pest
What more to say
I rest my case

His dad is busy
Watching TV
Tom has no friends
Only has me

There is a problem
This is not fair
I just can’t speak
I’m Teddy Bear

This poem is a tribute to all children in an abusive situation.

Elizabeth, oh, so sad to have poor Tom so needy and Teddy unable to talk, very enriching poem for a good cause.
