Teddy

TEDDY Teddy is my friend He hugged me when mummy died And wouldn’t eat, when I wouldn’t I cried for days, he did too The next door kid ripped his leg And I bit her, hard on the neck Her mummy called and daddy scolded I and teddy He smiled and I sew his leg back on And made him a crutch And he still hugs me When I cry for mummy.
