Teasing Moon

Stars happily twinkled in the heaven
Moon peaked out from among the clouds
The clouds drifted by merrily without hurry
Playing a game of hide and seek
Moon was trying to look at the ground
Wondering where he should shed some light
Clouds were laughing gleefully as they sauntered by
Teasing moon was on the agenda
while the stars ignored these tactics
Moon sighs for he was in for a long foolish night
Wished he could turn out his light
