Teary Tide

Don’t want to feel what’s deep inside
Something in me has surely died
Don’t want to feel your teary tide
Someone screams to me — where do I hide?

I don’t want to be the only one
I don’t want to be your shining sun
I just wanted to have a little fun
What have I done?
What have I done?
What have I done?

Wish it was a February once more
Wish it was a February’s shining shore
Wish it was a February to simply soar

Wish it was a February all over again
Wish it was a February — then again,
I wish I was a ten
I feel your zen
I feel your zen
I feel your zen
As I put it down on paper and pen
Paper and pen
Pen and paper
Pen and paper
Once again
Once again

Zoning out of nowhere deep inside
Something in me — cannot simply hide
Where have I been?
Where have I been?
Am I feeling zen?
Am I feeling zen?
With my broken pride,
I want you by my side!
With my broken pride,
We’ll never subside…

Wish it was a February once more
Wish it was a February’s shining shore
Wish it was a February to simply soar

Wish it was a February all over again
Wish it was a February — then again,
I wish I was a ten
I feel your zen
I feel your zen
I feel your zen
As I put it down on paper and pen
Paper and pen
Pen and paper
Pen and paper
Once again
Once again

Wish you my sunlit sky…you-you and I
Anguish upon my heart — cannot deny…
Switch the lights in my eye so wide…
Stitch the wounds from deep inside…

Wish it was a February once more
Wish it was a February’s shining shore
Wish it was a February to simply soar

Wish it was a February all over again
Wish it was a February — then again,
I wish I was a ten
I feel your zen
I feel your zen
I feel your zen
As I put it down on paper and pen
Paper and pen
Pen and paper
Pen and paper
Once again
Once again

Wish it was a February by our side
Wish we were a ten to mend our tide
Don’t want to feel your teary tide
Someone screams to me — where do I hide?
What about my broken pride?
Together, at least we tried

Switch the lights in my eye so wide…
Stitch the wounds from deep inside…
From deep inside…our teary tide…
