Tears (To Weep)
I feel i must ask this question do you know what it is to really cry out, to weep? I have been
there my friend. When tears are burning hot on your face and your body hurts with every
sob.
When you cant see because of the tears, streamimg from your eyes. Let me tell you this,
there aint anything wrong with crying, with really sobbing. If you were told dont cry, or that
grown men dont cry, or boys dont cry, let me say this friends you were told a lie.
There is no shame in crying, Jesus our lord and saviour wept, He wept over Jerusalem.
Father God weeps today, at the pain,injustice, hurt and dispare in the world. He weeps for
the still born child,for the abused child, he weeps for the elderly, for the poverty and shame.
He weeps for those who are drink and drug dependant, he weeps for the widow and widower
and for the prostitute as well. He weeps for the little man who we dont know by name. He
weeps for the the religious, so caught up in thier chains.
So if you still think it's wrong to cry, soften your heart, my friend and refuse to listen to the
lie. Because there is nothing wrong with a good old cry.
