Tears - Song

Tears flow down my face When I think of how Christ died How Satan’s cruel acts Upon His body not denied So I could receive the hope Of resurrection morning Forgiven transgressions Promised crown adorning Chorus Tears for my Savior Are tears for His pain Suffered with deep love That I might have gain A life with my Father Never to end Eternal redemption The trinity’s blend Tears, tears of joy— When I see His face Because of His love Mercy and grace The very last tears I’ll ever express Wiped away in heaven Our dear Lord to address.
