Tears of Youth

Tears of a child so wet and free
Sometimes sad others glee
Comforted by a Mothers' touch
A hug a kiss assured a hush
And when not a youth
But almost grown
The well of tears go dry
As life's' will is sewn
As a Man a soul
Cries much less
Emotions controlled
Unmanned duress
A stronger faith
A hope a prayer
Spiritual strength
When no other
Is there.

Tell me, cannot the tears of an innocent adult also be as profound as a child's? And are not tears also shed in a beautiful and profound happiness? We should not fear tears.

Not much into crying (never was) but there is no harm in a little spiritual reinforcement now and again. If more people took time out to reflect and ponder then the whole wide world might not be in such Sh.t order. Good effort, Kelli! My best regards. :) john

I confess, when I was younger, I never cried. Now that I'm older, I find myself tearing up for no reason sometimes. I suppose, had I have cried more as a youth, they would not be overflowing with age. I enjoyed reading you today, Kelli. Always nice to see you posting:):)
