Tears of the Heart (Naani)

(Naani-Expression of one and all)

A tearful heart mourns,
In dire circumstances.
Yet, the same heart when gladdened
Shall shed joyful tears...

[The Naani is one of India's most popular Telugu poetic forms, consiting of 4 lines and
a 20 to 25 syllabic count. It is not bound to a particular subject. Generally, it
depends upon human relations and current statements.]

I have never heard of this beautiful form--but you penned it so well and with great truth and wisdom. A very inspirational piece, Sara:)
