Tears of Respect

Life is like an ocean,
tides go in and out.
How much can one withstand,
what's it all about.
Choose the path that we take,
gamble, make that bet.
So many people make mistakes,
they can't forgive and forget.
Saying words not from the heart,
is it all well worth.
Evil they may be from start,
do they belong on earth.
Always thinking they come first,
it's always me, me, me.
Do they starve of a thirst,
can their eyes see.
As they grow through the years,
older do they get.
They should listen with their ears,
and shed tears of respect.
