Tears of a Dead Mans Poem

I had love in my heart but I was a victim to my emotions
I shared my heart, that's how it ended up broken
Suicide?, Murder? Or natural causes? How did I end up going?
Do you understand the tears of a dead mans poem?

Skeletons in my closet that I hang out with
Monsters under my bed, if I fall they put their hand out quick
Take me to their world and show me around
I stayed quiet and hid my feelings but they know me now

They could read my mind but made me feel welcome
They lifted me up and didn't laugh when I fell some
I was finally accepted by people who didn't judge me
They helped me to become numb from real life people who pretended to love me

I accepted depression as a friend and he never escaped
I told god I'd give him anything, if I can punch my dad when I get to the heaven gates
I'm still waiting for an answer and reply
But I believe I have the right to make a man bleed who ignored his child's cries

People judged my mistakes, but these monsters allowed me to pay them off
They said when my job is done, they will lay me off
They make me feel worthless, but told me it'd make me a better man
Depression told me not to write this, because they won't understand

I had love in my heart but I was a victim to my emotions
I shared my heart, that's how it ended up broken
Suicide?, Murder? Or natural causes? How did I end up going?
Do you understand the tears of a dead mans poem?

Hi Alex...darkly energized art...nicely done...this very human experience we live briefly on this planet is filled with pain and love..when too heavy, I hold it out in my hand, fix it or give it to God...His control...peace be upon you!

Thank you, yeah it is, lots of pain and love, what's meant to be, will be, sometimes it takes people longer to find peace/happiness, thank you
