Tears of a Clown
"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." - quote by Mark Twain
-----------------------------------------------------------
Being poor is not romantic
Hunger has no eyes, no vision
Soul boils without, within, unfelt
Neglected health devaluates
Dignity, respect takes back seats
Pity is a sharp stab in gut
Working up to life, to find means
Through tangles of clueless upkeep
Owning up faults, false fatalism
Life comes and goes like tomorrows
Tears of physically wronged souls
Salts up oceans, clowns keep smiling
