Tears Are For the Dead
Acid tears that run down my cheeks like a snail on salty sidewalk
Eating through my skin
Burning off layer after layer of innocense
Dripping down my neck onto my heart
Searing through flesh and consuming my soul
My tears are hungry for heartache and that's all I am
Within minutes I go from little more than human to nothing but a hollowed corpse
Souless and alone in the wake of this tragedy I consider this a blessing
Freedom.
I can only feel ashamed
It's my fault I released them, those blissful tears of destruction
I let them free
My tears are the death of me
