Tears

Tears?.....

In my lifetime I've cried
too many tears

A river of tears -

tears of sadness
tears for love ones dying
tears for weeping eyes crying

So many hurtful tears

tears of defeat
tears of grief
tears of pain

Yet, upon my journey, comes
my strength to remain

Therefore, I know that my living
is not in vain.

Yes, I have cried a waterfall
full of tears

Tears that fall from my eyes
like rain -

tears of heartache
tears of sorrow

Still.....

I am a child of God, In my soul;
deep in my heart -

I know that this too shall pass
drenched eyes will weep no more -

from henceforth, I'm gonna cry
peaceful tears -

tears of joy
tears of hope

tears of faith, and above all
tears of love

An impressive poem Ken. Sometimes having a cry is good, it's when the tears can't stop it is so crushing. Tears of joy are beautiful. #7
