Tears
Tears
No thief in the night stole her from me,
It was a mighty tempest, like you would witness at sea.
For a time she was safe, far from harm’s way,
Until her trust a friend did betray.
Looking back on all I have done,
A different life path may have saved my loved one.
But a life of power and greed I did follow,
Now my loved one is gone, and my soul it is hollow.
I have missed her terribly all through the years,
Now all I have left is her memory in tears.
