Tears
Life plays a mock role on the living.
Up turning their existence like pebbles.
Goading them with desire at the journeys end,
To venture out on un-woven tracks.
Lean not your heart on gone by joys or sorrows.
Seasons change again for the better.
Dismay holding out newer hopes,
Cravings, longings and turmoils are to cherish.
Linger on, a little, O! sweetness of love,
My heart swells with the passing winds:
And time be ripe for the spirited storm.
Alas, yonder blows yet another tempest.
Drape not the darkened night with confusion.
Dress not your sleepless eyes in kajal.
Enliven not your passions in mystic veils.
The contourless air grows warm.
It is but nature kicking up the waves.
In time the clouds will form and rain.
Tears had held us apart in sorrows,
Await till they bring us together in joys.
