Tears

Tears

These solid feelings in me
Converted to heavy liquid
Flows down my cheeks,
And burn my face like acid

They glitter like gold
Warm my face,
and leaves my soul cold

They reach my mouth,
Penetrates my lips and
stings my tongue

I knew not what they were
Believing they are just liquid and they dry

Until someone told me;
those are Tears
and they last - in memories

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Tears do last "in memory" and usually more than other things. Welcome to Poetry Soup Abunic.
