Tears

Tears falling off my cheek,
To the cold damp floor.

I no longer know what life holds for me.
The struggle of trying to get things back on track,
But I’m simply falling apart.

I weep about how easy life seemed,
When I was a child,
Everything seemed so simple and meaningless.

I couldn’t wait to grow up,
And Now?

Life is far from simple,
The exhaustion I feel,
Just waking up in the morning.
Knowing the struggle I face ahead.

As tears fall from my cheek,
They all hold a cry for help.
