Tearless Father

He's been my pops
28 years and running
Out of all these years
I haven't seen something

A tear on his cheek -
His head down low -
His weakness isn't seen -
Feelings never hang low -

I admit my father
Is strong at heart
But I've never seen him cry
When will the tears start

A tear on his cheek -
His head down low -
His weakness isn't seen -
Feelings never hang low -

At his father's funeral
He didn't cry a bit
Not until it was over
When I realized it

A tear on his cheek -
His head down low -
His weakness isn't seen -
Feelings never hang low -

When his mother had pass
I cried my hardest
But not my father figure
He was the opposite

A tear on his cheek -
His head down low -
His weakness isn't seen -
Feelings never hang low -

He's a lion to me
I respect him alot
But will I see him cry
I my life.....maybe not

A tear on his cheek -
His head down low -
His weakness isn't seen -
Feelings never hang low -
