TEARFUL

Crystals of water on my happy face 
Eyes that drip joy seeing you rise to grace 
For, after the times you got stuck in snow 
The lights of your dreams now come to glow 

Oh! Blood of my bone, listen to my cry
All that I wanted was to see you fly 
There's no more precious gift that I could give 
Than to help you find your ways to live

And now that you're about to hold the key for your tomorrow 
My heart is drowned both in happiness and sorrow 
The joy of seeing you weave your way 
The pain of losing you one day for a place faraway 

Listen to the sound of my tears that fall 
For one day, I may be forced to cross your wall 
I just wish that one day you'd always be around 
And don't forget to always keep your feet on the ground
