Teardrop

A tear dropped off my cheek
Splashed on the floor
Rolled across the room
Then out the door
Down the drive
Into the gutter
Out into the street
Then swirled down the drain

Tear found itself
Floating down the river
Then sun picked tear up
And carried it
High up into the air

Where

It fell on my house
Ran through the hole
In my roof
Through the crack
In the ceiling

Where

It dripped on my head
Which made me cry
And another tear
Dripped off my cheek

G'day Timothy … your tear jerker is making me sad Timothy. Often wondered what happens to tears, now I know - thanks Timothy - Lindsay
