Tear On the Horizon
Breathless nights,
tearful fights;
shattered among the stars.
Empty ears,
thoughts unclear;
as to what went wrong.
Broken dreams,
fearful schemes;
that I still fear today.
Freedom wakes
as my body quakes;
For I can finally
say,
All I see
ahead of me
is a long happy life.
As for
you
my thoughts are clear
tear on the horizon.
