Tear Juice

. Peeling off layers
               I'm slice'n, dice'n, chopp'n
                    Onion cries in pain

What a clever use of personification. Got a chuckle out of the last line. I like the use of language in the second line--gives your poem an informal feel which works well. Thank you for sharing this day brightener with us and for your kind commments. Karen

Abe... I Love When Recipies Call for Onions, You must have a white onion in mind, cause they make me cry more than the red or yellow ones... (Hey, did the Onion say Ouch? smile) MoonBee
